"I enjoy educating patients on all options for their foot and ankle problems, both non-operative and surgical. I am also interested in preventative medicine of the foot and ankle."
I earned my medical degree from the Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences, Miami Shores, Fla. I completed my residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at North Chicago Veterans Affairs Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago, Ill. I also completed a fellowship in diabetic foot reconstructive surgery at Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, Mich.
I have an interest in foot and ankle surgery extending from hammertoes and bunions to fractures and complex foot reconstructions. I also have a particular interest in wound care and diabetic limb preservation. I have worked extensively in clinical research, and speak nationally and internationally on diabetes-related foot and ankle deformities.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, playing guitar and spending time with my sons.
