"Neurological diseases can be devastating; however, there are many treatment advances including medical and surgical options to help patients. My main interest is epilepsy - it is my goal to make epilepsy patients as seizure free as I can."
I earned my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth Dominica, West Indies. I completed my residency in neurology at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo. I also completed an epilepsy fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Neurology is one of the few specialties which still relies primarily on history and physical exam, which I pride myself on. I am skilled in providing video EEG, ambulatory EEG, evoked potentials, WADA testing, lumbar punctures, intraoperative/extraoperative mapping and vagus nerve stimulation. My areas of interest include epilepsy/seizures and neurology.
Married with three children, outside of work I enjoy cars, golf, movies, weightlifting and spending time with family.
