"I believe that a research based, integrative approach to healthcare is the best model. In my office that means treatment methods that are consistent with good science, and enlisting the help of colleagues in the healthcare community via referral when warranted."
I earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. I also received a bachelor of science from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Certified by the Wisconsin Chiropractic Examining Board and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, I am also certified in nutritional counseling and advanced certification in whiplash treatment by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
My practice is a general one, treating patients from all walks of life such as physical laborers, desk workers, professionals, athletes, the elderly and children. I provide manipulative care ("adjustments") for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders like back pain, neck pain, headache, pinched nerves, slipped discs and various other joint, nerve and muscle conditions. I employ complementary physiotherapy modalities like electric stimulation, ultrasound, cold laser, traction, heat and ice, massage therapy, acupuncture, and exercise rehab. Virtually all patients receive instruction in health maintenance like exercise, nutrition or lifestyle management.
My wife Amy and I have four daughters and many grandchildren. Outside of work, I like to grow things so I have many plants in the house and in the summer you'll often find me in the yard. I like to bike the beautiful country roads and bike paths in Ozaukee County and you'll frequently find us hiking in places like Lion's Den. I am also a fan of folk and blues music.
