I believe in the humane application of science and evidence based medicine that is patient and family oriented.
I provide diagnosis and treatment of patients with ischemic strokes, cerebral hemorrhages, subarachnoid hemorrhages, traumatic brain injury and all forms of neurological emergencies. My special interests include targeted temperature management, temperature variability in TBI and subarachnoid hemorrhage, cortisol variation in neurologically critically ill TBI, subarachnoid hemorrhage and ICH.
I earned my medical degree at the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii. I completed my residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and my fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. I am board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In my free time, I enjoy free diving, SCUBA diving, long-distance swimming and running.
