William Tisol, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon who specializes in surgery of the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, diaphragm and chest wall (rib cage). His areas of interest include all aspects of thoracic oncology (lung cancer, esophageal cancer, sarcomas, mediastinal malignancies and chest wall tumors), as well as benign diseases, including achalasia, hiatal hernias, myasthenia gravis and hyperhidrosis.
Dr. Tisol is dedicated to minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as VATS (video-assisted thoracic surgery) and robotic-assisted surgery, in order to provide the most effective and comfortable surgical experience.
