Manitowoc, Wis. – Aurora Health Care has purchased The Manitowoc Surgery Center, 1720 Memorial Drive in Manitowoc, making it part of Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County.
“Acquiring the facility will give patients increased access to outpatient surgery services within Aurora’s integrated health care system,” said Cathie Kocourek, president of Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County.
The facility will continue to be used by physicians of Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic.
“This change is consistent with Aurora’s ongoing collaboration with BayCare Clinic to serve Manitowoc County’s health care needs,” added Kocourek.
