Ten Aurora Health Care hospitals named to U.S. News & World Report ‘Best Hospitals’ 2023-2024 list

MILWAUKEE, WI – Ten Aurora Health Care hospitals have been named to the U.S. News & World Report ‘Best Hospitals’ list.

“We’re proud of our physicians, nurses and teammates for their continued commitment to providing patients with the safest and highest-quality care possible,” said Bill Santulli, president of Advocate Health – Midwest, which includes Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin.

The U.S. News & World Report list recognizes both regional and national achievement. Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, which ranks No. 1 in metro Milwaukee and No. 2 in the state, is nationally ranked in two specialties: obstetrics and gynecology, as well as heart and vascular care. Aurora Medical Center – Grafton ranks No. 3 in the metro area and No. 6 in the state.

Additionally, Aurora hospitals earned 49 high-performing ratings across a range of specialties, procedures and conditions, including neurology, pulmonology and diabetes. Aurora Medical Center – Summit, Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Aurora Medical Center – Oshkosh, Aurora West Allis Medical Center, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area, Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha and Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center earned such accolades.

U.S. News & World Report evaluated more than 5,000 hospitals nationwide. The methodology is based on measures of quality such as risk-adjusted outcome rates, volume, quality of nursing and other care-related indicators.
