Clinical education faculty, as well as staff chaplains and other health care professionals, facilitate learning through didactic seminars, hospital-based services and other learning opportunities.
Each student is assigned a staff chaplain at their clinical site to provide support and feedback through mentor meetings, shadow visits, co-visits, consultation and formal evaluations.
Rev. Dr. Michelle Oberwise Lacock

Rev. Dr. Oberwise Lacock is an ordained Elder in the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC) and endorsed by the UMC General Board of Higher Education for hospital chaplaincy and ACPE Supervisory Education.
Before coming to Aurora Health Care in 2009, Rev. Dr. Oberwise Lacock worked in numerous organizations as an ACPE Certified Educator and chaplain; served as pastor in local UMC churches; and taught music education. She is a published author in the field.
Rev. Tracey Wilkinson
Supervisor of CPE for Aurora Kettle Moraine
Rev. Wilkinson is an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister with a background in parish ministry, hospital chaplaincy, and psychotherapy.
She has received master’s degrees from Union Theological Seminary and Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Rabbi Yonason Meadows

Rabbi Meadows is an ordained rabbi in the Orthodox Jewish faith tradition. He studied at several yeshivot including Yeshiva University and Kol Yaakov Torah Center in New York.
Rabbi Meadows is fluent in French, Hebrew, Yiddish and English.
Rev. Jeffrey Powell

Rev. Powell is a graduate of Delta State University, where he received an undergraduate degree in fine arts and received his Masters of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA.
He is ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and has a background in parish ministry and hospital chaplaincy. He currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Rev. Jacob Werkheiser
Aurora at Home Zilber Family Hospice
Rev. Jacob Werkheiser is an ordained and endorsed for chaplaincy in the Evangelical Church in America. He has a background working in congregations and hospitals. He is currently a hospice chaplain for Zilber Family Hospice and a Certified Education Fellow.
Rev. Werkheiser has a BA in Music from Carroll University and a Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.
Rev. Janet E. MacLean
ACPE Certified Educator/System Director of Advocate Aurora CPE
Rev. MacLean is an ACPE Certified Educator and serves as the System Director of Clinical Pastoral Education for Advocate Health Care. She completed her supervisory training and other education with Advocate Christ Medical Center and the Urban CPE program in Chicago.
She is a board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ.
The Aurora CPE Professional Advisory Group (PAG) is comprised of interdisciplinary professionals that provide advice and consultation on program planning, development and evaluation for our CPE Center.
Members of this group are qualified in their fields and knowledgeable about clinical pastoral education. The PAG meets bi-monthly to oversee the needs and concerns of all aspects of the program. A member list is available upon request.
