The application window for the Wisconsin ACL Central Laboratory School of Histotechnology opens in early spring.
You can submit your application starting in March each year. To begin the application process, visit Aurora Careers. Search the keyword “Histology Extern” to find the position. Provide the requested information and upload a copy of your resumé.
Admission to the program is limited. A completed application does not guarantee admission.
After a review of all submitted resumés, the histology education coordinator will send application packets via USPS to all qualified candidates.
The application packet includes a general information form, as well as a request for a written essay and copies of official college transcripts.
Pending receipt of all application items, we’ll schedule interviews for early June. Final candidates are chosen and notified of acceptance into the program upon completion of all interviews.
The program starts in September and runs through August of the following year.
