What to expect at your virtually assisted care visit

Thank you for choosing Aurora Health Care for your visit. Learn more about how your visit with us combines in-person care with video visit technology.

How will my virtually assisted care visit work?

When you need treatment for a minor illness such as sore throat or the flu, you’ll have the option to meet with a clinician over video while our in-person care team assists with your exam.

This innovative care model enables us to assess your ears, nose, throat, heart, lungs and skin using advanced digital equipment that provides a more interactive experience than a traditional visit. During an exam, the patient can see the same image the clinician sees at the same time the clinician sees it.

We take our responsibility to safeguard your personal information seriously. Like any other visit with a doctor, you’ll have your visit in a comfortable, private environment using safe, secure technology.
