Diagnostic Sonography Program Policies

Our program does not practice open enrollment. Class size is limited, and not all applicants are admitted to the program. There is no waiting list.

The purpose of our Admission Policy and Procedure is to establish a consistent system for the selection of students. The Policy addresses equal opportunity, the application process (including timeline, requirements, and assessment process), information about the personal interview, and what final selection is based on.

Applicants with Foreign Transcripts

In order to determine academic achievement, foreign applicants are required to have their transcripts evaluated by Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).

  • The student should inform ECE they are applying to Aurora St. Luke’s School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ECE will review transcripts and determine the American equivalency; if necessary, ECE will make recommendations to prospective applicant
  • Any costs associated with the transcript evaluation are the responsibility of the applicant
  • Please contact ECE at www.ece.org
