Chiropractic Care

Overview

Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, natural pain relief method used to treat bodily pain, tension and other related issues. It promotes proper function between the joints and nervous system without the use of drugs or surgery.

Chiropractors work with patients to improve flexibility and provide pain management. They work to ease joint pain and strain from conditions like sciatica, lower back pain, arthritis and generalized muscle strain.

Our board-certified, licensed chiropractors will work with you to provide convenient, comprehensive chiropractic care that helps ease your pain and gets you back to the life you love.

But benefits of chiropractic care extend beyond muscle and back pain relief. Chiropractic can also help to improve posture, relieve tension headaches and reduce stress levels.

Our chiropractors can help with:

  • Arthritis
  • Back pain relief
  • Disc conditions
  • Headaches
  • Knee or ankle pain
  • Neck pain
  • Pinched nerves
  • Sciatica issues
  • Shoulder or arm pain
  • Spinal stenosis (a narrowing of the spinal column that causes pressure on the spinal cord)

What to Expect

During your first visit, your chiropractor will discuss your health history and symptoms. You’ll be physically examined and, if it’s appropriate, treatment can start that day.

Typically, people receive chiropractic treatments a number of times over the course of 2 weeks. Many patients find that their symptoms improve after only a few treatments.

Services & Treatment

Your customized chiropractic treatment may include:

  • Orthopedic or neurological evaluation
  • Chiropractic adjustments
  • Diagnostic testing
  • Spinal manipulation therapy or mobilization
  • Advice on modifying your activities
  • Exercising and stretching
  • Chiropractic therapy such as ultrasound, light therapy or muscle stimulation

Aurora chiropractors have access to the latest technology and diagnostic testing tools, including CT (computerized tomography) scans and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).

Our chiropractors work in the same clinics as doctors, rehabilitation specialists and other health care professionals to provide convenient, comprehensive care and the best possible outcomes. Your chiropractor will work with your primary care doctor and can refer you to another doctor or specialist if necessary.
