Integrative Health Coaching

Whether you’re interested in weight loss, better nutrition, or increased energy, lasting lifestyle changes are possible with an integrative health coach.

IntegrativeHealth Coaching

Overview

Integrative Health Coaching is a personalized program where you work one-on-one with a licensed Integrative Health Coach to achieve your health goals. This program can help you:

  • Live a healthier life
  • Improve a chronic condition
  • Get a better night’s sleep
  • Find ways to relieve stress
  • Make different food choices

Over the course of four one-on-one sessions, your integrative wellness coach will help you define your goals, pinpoint obstacles, and create an action plan to make small-but-powerful changes that stick. They’ll also offer accountability and support as you overcome setbacks and celebrate your wins.

Coaches

What is an Integrative Health Coach?

An integrative health coach is a supportive partner who works with the whole person. Your coach will take the time to really listen, ask you powerful questions, and help you discover inner resources you didn’t even know you had.

At Aurora, our integrative health coaches are licensed health care professionals who have advanced training in integrative, whole-person health coaching. Their previous health-field-related background and experience includes medicine, nursing and nutrition.

An integrative health coach:

  • Is fully present to listen deeply and guide you through personalized, one-on-one encounters
  • Partners with you to achieve your personal health and well-being goals
  • Recognizes your innate wisdom and inner healing potential
  • Meets you where you are without judgment
  • Helps you make healthy behavior changes to achieve the kind of life and health you desire
  • Emphasizes your self-empowerment and self-care

How it Works

Coaching on Your Schedule

Integrative Heath Coaching is convenient, flexible, and works around your schedule.

  • Your initial Integrative Health Coaching package includes four visits with a licensed integrative health coach
  • You’ll meet with your coach by telephone or video chat at a time that’s convenient for you
  • Coaches are available for early morning, midday and evening sessions

TIP: Most people meet with their coaches every other week. It’s important that your visits take place over 6-8 weeks so you can hit the ground running, see results quickly, and stay motivated.

Working With Your Coach

Each Integrative Health Coaching experience is different, because every individual is different. Generally speaking, here’s what you can expect from your four coaching sessions:

  • Visit 1 (60 minutes) — Discover

Your wellness coach will guide you through a self-discovery process, helping you drill deep and pinpoint areas of your life that may be out of balance. From there, you’ll identify the areas that could benefit most from change, and talk about what you’d like to get out of your coaching sessions.

  • Visit 2 (30 minutes) — Define

During your second session, you and your coach will work to define what optimal health looks like to you. That could mean looking at the core health areas of your life that need the most attention, and identifying how, specifically, you want each area to change or improve.

Your coach will help you identify inner resources so you can tap into your own expertise about what you most need. You’ll create measurable goals and talk about action steps to reach those goals—whether it’s eating healthier meals, reducing your cholesterol, or achieving a greater work/life balance.

  • Visit 3 (30 minutes) — Explore & Assess

Your third session is about exploration, assessment and education. You’ll discuss your progress so far, talk about any roadblocks you’ve hit, and discover new ways to approach old problems. You’ll also celebrate your progress and get the resources you need to sustain the changes you’ve made.

  • Visit 4 (30 minutes) — Prepare

Your final integrative health coaching session is about establishing habits for future success. Your health coach will help you make a plan you can stick to long-term. As you prepare to continue your health journey on your own, you’ll also talk about what to do if you need support, and how to use what you’ve learned as a foundation for lifetime well-being.

Follow-Up Health Coaching

Your life and health are continually changing. That’s why it’s important to get follow-up support when you need it. We offer a follow-up coaching package to help you maintain your new healthy habits and keep moving forward.

The follow-up coaching package is only available to those who’ve completed the initial four-session coaching package.
