When you’re not feeling well, sometimes you might be too sick to leave the house. Or maybe you need care after hours. At Aurora Health Care, we’re here to help you get care when and where you need it with our telehealth services.
Telehealth – sometimes called virtual visits – is another way the whole family can see a provider and get care when and where you need it. Just hop on your mobile device or computer to connect to a provider. No need to drive to a clinic or a provider’s office.
We offer several telehealth options to meet your needs. With Quick Care Video Visits, you or children age 2 or older can see the next available family medicine provider to discuss your symptoms and treatment options. Or you can schedule a video visit with your virtual primary care provider – available for all ages – or another member of your established in-person care team during their office hours.
For kids, we offer dedicated pediatric Quick Care Video Visits, pediatric virtual primary care other ways to get care with a virtual pediatric provider. Learn more about pediatric telehealth.
You can also use Symptom Checker to help you find the right type of visit based on your symptoms. Your options may include an e-visit, where you’ll fill out a questionnaire and get an email response from the next available provider within an hour – or your own primary care provider within 24 hours.
The biggest benefit of telehealth visits is you or child can get care where and when you need it. Even when you’re sick, you can stay home and get care from a provider at a time that’s convenient for you – including extended hours and weekends.
Telehealth services are available to everyone in your family. For kids under 17, you’ll need to be their legally authorized representative. Learn more about proxy/dependent care.
Pediatric virtual primary care appointments are available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., 7 days a week for ages 0-17. Pediatric urgent care video visits are available for ages from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday for ages 2-17.
